Reformation is a brand that is ethically and socially sustainable fashion for the environment. Their buildings are all green and LEED-friendly buildings. They keep track of the amounts of CO2 and water saved through production of their clothing.
Environmentally friendly brands need to start at the highest pollution causing step, the assembly line/office buildings. Reformation has taken a step back and identified the highest CO2 and water wasting part of their company and changed it. They’re giving proof of what they’re doing as public knowledge and letting people know the impact they’re making by shopping at their store.
No, they haven’t been in any scandals. I believe they’re green for environment rather than green for profit. They seem, as a company, to really care about what they’re doing and care about the affect their company has on the environment.
